EVOLVE isn’t about a quick fix, it’s about meaningful change. Many artists arrive feeling scattered, uncertain, overwhelmed or stuck. Over six months, they gain clarity, momentum, and confidence, not only in their work, but in how they speak about it, share it, and put it into the world. Artists often say they leave EVOLVE with stronger work, a renewed sense of direction, and a deeper belief in themselves as artists. A dual focus on your artwork and your professional practice. 

At the heart of EVOLVE is making stronger, more resolved work. Without that, getting the opportunities you want is nearly impossible, so we start with your work and build up from there. 

I’m both an artist and a mentor.

 While many valuable programs are led by non-artists, like arts administrators, curators, academics, or marketing and business strategists, I understand artists' specific challenges - the doubts, sensitivities, and the deeply personal nature of making work. I’m on the same path as you and bring lived experience and insight into the delicate balance between creative risk, self-belief, and public visibility.

EVOLVE is fully live and interactive. 

Let’s be honest, most of us sign up for pre-recorded courses and never finish them. In live sessions, artists show up, stay engaged, and get real-time feedback. It builds accountability and momentum. Real change can happen…and it’s just way more fun.

EVOLVE is designed for visual artists working in any medium who are deeply committed to their practice and are developing, or have developed, a unique voice. It’s for artists with some experience under their belt, whether that’s a few years or a few decades. I’ve mentored artists with no formal training and those with Master's qualifications. What matters most is your dedication, openness to growth, and desire to make exceptional work.

You’ll be the first to receive details in August about the updated EVOLVE 2025–2026 program and will be invited to have a conversation with me before I open applications to my wider community. In this conversation, I will find out about your specific challenges and goals to ensure I can help you. 

EVOLVE runs for six months and includes weekly group sessions, monthly one-on-one mentoring, worksheets, set tasks, and the odd challenge. These are designed to fit in with your arts practice and be immediately applied. The artists who show up consistently (not perfectly) and are willing to grow get the most out of the program.
