Amy Kennedy is an Australian ceramic artist and artist mentor dedicated to helping visual artists create exceptional work. With a deep understanding of materials, process, and transformation, Amyâs own artistic practice explores energy, force, and landscape through her innovative approach to ceramics.
Her career spans international artist residencies in the Netherlands, the U.S., Iceland, and Japan, along with major awards and acquisitions, including the National Gallery of Victoria and the Art Gallery of South Australia.
As the creator of Evolve and Fresh Eyes, Amy has worked with artists worldwide to refine their artistic vision, push creative boundaries, and develop work that is seen and valued.  âI had 6 months to make new work. I started last year but somehow couldnât get it to work.
Full of doubt, I plugged away until I did the Make Exceptional Work Intro with you earlier this year. That short learning gave me the tools to review the work I had made, so I kept going.
Still uncertain about the new direction, I sent off the work. They loved it, thought it was stunning, and have used the images as their feature image for the exhibition. It is a wake-up call to have more belief in the work I do.
